Hello East Holmes families!
Tomorrow is the big day!
We are thrilled to invite you to our very first annual Reading Under the Lights! This fun, free event for Kindergarten through 8th-grade families will take place on Thursday, October 8th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Hiland Baseball Field.
Doors open at 5:30 PM, and our reading stations will kick off at 6:00 PM. Please feel free to drop in whenever you can—you are welcome to join the fun at any time!
Throughout the evening, students will rotate through stations featuring books read by Hiland athletes, retired teachers, fire and EMS, hometown heroes and more. Best of all, every student gets to choose 5 free books to take home! And rumor has it that Clifford, Elephant, and Piggie will all be making special guest appearances!
This event is presented in partnership with the United Way of Wayne and Holmes County, and free food will be provided for all families thanks to the incredible generosity of our local business sponsors.
We can't wait to see you at the ballfield on October 8th for a fantastic night of books, food, and community. Have a wonderful evening!

Parents can access a range of support for their students, including weekly or biweekly check-ins and full outpatient mental health services. Services also include classroom instruction on topics such as anxiety, grief and loss, as well as relationships with friends.
