Reading Under the Lights is coming to Hiland Baseball Field on Thursday, October 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Hosted in partnership with the Holmes County District Public Library and United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties, this free literacy event for Kindergarten through 8th-Grade families brings the community together to help students get excited about reading. The goal is simple: make reading fun and help every student discover a book they can’t wait to open.
Throughout the evening, students will rotate through stations featuring books read by Hiland athletes, retired teachers, fire and EMS, hometown heroes, and more. Best of all, every student gets to choose five free books to take home!
