East Holmes Local Schools has completed year two of its Phased Classroom Renovation Project, bringing refreshed learning spaces to Berlin, Chestnut Ridge, and Hiland in time for the start of the school year.
Work began in early summer with demolition and site preparation and moved steadily toward finishing touches as the school year approached. New flooring, lighting, furniture, and casework are now in place across all three buildings, and staff had time to settle into their updated classrooms before welcoming students back.
Looking ahead, the district will turn its attention to the next phase of the project, bringing similar updates to Flat Ridge, Wise, Walnut Creek and another part of Hiland next summer.
Thank you to families, staff, and community members for their patience and support throughout construction. Updated classrooms are now ready to serve students at Berlin, Hiland, and Chestnut Ridge for years to come!
