Thanks to the Holmes Soil and Water Conservation District for providing East Holmes students hands on learning yesterday at the Annual 5th grade farm tour! Students rotated through stations with topics that included -- farming, forestry and maple syrup production, wildlife, soils, stream study and a tour of Walnut Creek Planing. Thanks to the Wengerd family at Ayrdell Farm for hosting and Hiland FFA students for their support through the day! #eastholmes #inspirepreparechallenge

IMPORTANT CALENDAR UPDATE: 📣 There are important changes to the end-of-year calendar. Students' last day of school will now be Wednesday, May 24. Students WILL NOT report to school on Thursday, May 25. On Thursday, May 25, teachers and classified staff will have a workday and attend a staff recognition program. On Friday, May 26, teachers will have a dedicated workday, and there will be an English Language Arts curriculum professional development. Thank you for your cooperation as we adjust to make the most of the end of the year for students, staff, and parents. If you have any questions please contact your building office.

Hiland High School is proud to present The Plot, Like Gravy, Thickens in the Hiland Auditorium April 14-16. This is a comedy murder mystery with audience participation. Congratulations to the Boy's Basketball team who have advanced to the state tournament! Friday, March 17th they will play Convoy Crestview at Dayton University at 5:15 pm.
