Meet the Student Lighthouse Team.

The Student Lighthouse Team is a key component of The Leader in Me program. This team is composed of students who take on leadership roles within their school community. The team is responsible for implementing and promoting the principles of The Leader in Me program, fostering a positive and proactive school culture.

Here are some common responsibilities and activities associated with the Student Lighthouse Team:

Leadership Roles: Members of the team often hold specific leadership roles within the school, such as leading assemblies, facilitating leadership events, or representing the student body in decision-making processes.

Promoting the 7 Habits: The team actively promotes the seven habits outlined in The Leader in Me program,  encouraging their peers and the school community to incorporate these habits into their daily lives.

Community Service: Student Lighthouse Teams are involved in organizing and participating in community service projects, fostering a sense of social responsibility among students.

Problem-Solving: Team members are often trained in problem-solving skills and conflict resolution, and they assist their peers in finding constructive solutions to challenges.

Communication Skills: The team helps develop effective communication skills among students, promoting open dialogue and collaboration.

Goal Setting: Members of the Student Lighthouse Team  work with their peers to set and achieve academic and personal goals, aligning with the principles of The Leader in Me program.

Educating the whole child involves addressing not only academic needs but also social, emotional, and physical development is a huge part of Berlin School. We emphasize a holistic approach to education that considers students' well-being, character development, and life skills alongside traditional academic subjects.
